Sometimes the moment you pick something up you feel completely connected to it. I admit it doesn’t happen often to me so when I picked up an Apatite, Jasper and Tiger’s Eye bracelet from LavHa I was drawn to it. I put it on and the Apatite matched my Fitbit flex* perfectly. One of my favorite scents, the Protective Blend with it’s cinnamon, orangey clove wafted up to me and I was hooked. I couldn’t bring myself to take it off and I’ve worn it ever since.
The little lava stones in the bracelet absorb your favorite essential oil and like a personal diffuser disperse it though out the day and it lasts up to three days. I was delighted to explore the cute little bag it came with and discovered a beautiful chart with all of the different properties of different stones in it. As I explored the stones in my bracelet I discovered that Apatite clears away negativity, something I spent many years surrounded by and always struggle to keep at bay. Jasper is nurturing, one of my favorite emotions. After all as a health coach I feel that nurturing is an essential part of it. Starting with a puzzle together we put the clues together to find a path toward healing. There is a lot of growth along the way and the emotional reward when there is a success is such an overwhelming positive feeling there is nothing like it. As a further complement Tiger’s Eye is a stone of protection that is grounding, enhances integrity, willpower and practicality. I find it simply amazing that someone could have created a bracelet that felt like it was designed for me and it found its way on my wrist even though it was created thousands of miles away.
So naturally me being me I had to dig a little further and learn more about the amazing people that created this bracelet. It shouldn’t have surprised me to find that Nancy, like me, has passion for learning and a strong interest in holistic health and has even published her own book. She met Jessica when she moved into her neighborhood and was delighted to discover she had a background in nursing and an avid interest in holistic healing as well. Jessica’s love for essential oils and nature combined with Nancy’s love of yoga and gems were the perfect catalyst to form LavHa and their beautiful gemstone jewelry intermixed with lava stones.
